Cranial Osteopathy
Cranial osteopathy is a refined and subtle type of osteopathic treatment that encourages the release of stresses and tensions throughout the body, including the head. It is often used for treating babies and small children where birth strains caused by the use of forceps or ventouse, or a very long or fast labour can result in a fractious baby. It is, however, also widely used with adults where other, stronger osteopathic techniques are inappropriate or for the treatment of delicate structures such as the head, neck and face.
Many midwives and health visitors recommend cranial osteopathy. If you would like more information or would like to discuss your particular situation then please feel to call.
Mother and baby post natal check-ups are available to help ease the strains of pregnancy and child birth.
